John Goika was born in 1887. He was an Apprentice Seaman and lost his life on the U.S.S. Bennington boiler explosion on July 21, 1905. He was 18 years old time of his death and it was reported that he was from Milwaukee.
He is buried at the Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
